And that's a wrap!! 🤩 our biggest refurbishment yet has come to an end. Our free standing sofas have just been delivered!! 🛋

To some, this may look like an average dining area in a caravan. To us, it's the home of our togetherness while we are here. Wether it's to gather around for a full English breakfast 🥓, a Sunday roast or crafting ✏️ (FYI - that's a pencil, please may we ask if you can refrain from bringing pens to please do so 🙏) or our favourite.. a good board game!

Admittedly, how busy can life be at home, and how hard is it to get everyone around the table together at the same time? How often do you get to enjoy meals together, let alone a board game.

Here's to another year of bickering over board games 🎲 😅

Meet the faces behind Woodside Hideaway 🌳 - there's loads of new interest coming through, so I thought I'd share a little something.

We are 2 families of 4, who enjoy living life in the slow lane, exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with our children.

The 2 handsome devils in the middle have worked together for 18 years and share many interests.. one of which being a countryside staycation.. which brought us to the joint purchase of Woodside Hideaway in 2020.

We are entering our 4th year of renting out of holiday home. We have received the most amazing reviews and lots of rebookings from returning guests (which speaks volumes and we are so proud) 🥰 From the bottom of our hearts we want to say a huge THANKYOU to everyone who has ever booked with us, and those who help spread word on our hideaway. 🎆

Also a HUGE thankyou DLP Leisure our hot tub maintenance and house keeping team, because without them, the running of this wouldn't be possible. 🤎

2024 🎇 🎆 we are entering our 4th year of renting out our holiday home. Thank you to all guests who have stayed with us previously. The past 3 years have been really successful but lets make 2024 the most succesful year yet!!

Some previously guests have already rebooked, we have reserved dates for ourselves but there is still LOADS of availability.

Just £50.00 deposit required to secure dates. Remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to check in.

Sneak peak of our little refurbishment! 🛠

• New dinner set & placemats 🍽
• New hand towels & bathmats 🚿

• New voiles for the living room windows 🪟

• Wood panelling in the living room, painted in Farrow and Ball French Grey 🖌

• New carpets throughout

Our fitted in dining room seating is off to be upholstered from tomorrow and our new sofas should be here Monday 19th February 🗓

How our little reno is looking so far 🛠 as I know a few of you are intrigued as to what we are up to!

• New double mattress 🛌
• Fitted sofa ripped out 🛋
• Carpets removed throughout 🛠

• Ben has started wood panelling the living room 🛠

• New sofas/sofa beds ordered
• Our dining room fitted seated has been sent off for upholstery 🧵🪡
• New carpets ordered

Also to do; pick a paint for the wood panelling and get some voile sorted for the windows. 🪟

We hope you all love the changes we are making 🌳

And the best bit, cake and coffee from Nelson's at the park while the kids play ☕️🧁

Decent admission price 🎫 for a full day out, as 3 adults and 2 children, admission cost us £60.

Bring some £1 coins for the little diggers and mini trackers. And a picnic to save a few quid. 🥪

It's our 3rd time here and we've had another fabulous day, and we will certainly be returning again in the future.
