The final two days of our C2C2C ride with our American ladies, was Haltwhistle to Carlisle to Silloth, then a drive back to Manchester airport, with a quick obligatory visit to tebayservices

It’s been a beautiful week of riding and exploring, with a lovely easy going group of friends.

We were unfortunately short of one member who was unable to make the journey “over the pond” and was missed by everyone, including myself, who’s never met her!

They all now have a new appreciation for our wonderful region, our culture and our people and I’m sure will return as a full complement another time.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being able to “escort” them and wish them safe onward travels.
