5KW Laser fault.
Downtime 1 day diagnosis, parts ordered next day and repaired the following day.
Water had leaked from the tetrode vale and damaged the capacitors for the grid.
Last photo completed with new valve installation. Total cost of parts £6000.

So a little bit of monster moves this week. A new Mitsubishi fibre to a customer and the older one going to a new home. 2 extremely happy customers with a great product with great reliability.
The hiab crane is the biggest in the uk and can lift 32 ton at max extension, truly should be on discovery. The rear trailer had remote control drive.Fantastic bit of kit.

So tricky couple of weeks. Had a water leak onto an y,z linear motor ( that's right a dual linear high speed motor, very very expensive) managed to dry it out and touch wood it's running ok.
One of the photos shows the magnetic rail for the y axis portion of the linear motor. These magnets are special magnets called earth magnets, again they are rare and expensive.
The other photo is a close up of a lower die locking pin that had jammed due to build up of small metal slugs. This happened because the protection cover had not been replaced. £14.00 piece of equipment would have prevented major downtime. Customer is now aware and rectifying. Should have been picked up on a service. Oh and I currently don't service this yet.
Hope this is of interest to some of you geeks out there.
