🌴✨ A little slice of paradise… ✨🌴

We recently visited the 5* Baobab Suites 🇪🇸☀️ — and what a place!

From the stunning modern design and incredible views, to relaxing on our own private beach with a beer and a glass of wine. It ticked all of the boxes for what we were looking for! 🍻🍷

The facilities were second to none - Activate Sports Club had state of the art equipment and everything I was looking for in a hotel gym.

We had a choice of a breakfast buffet or room service and neither options disappointed 😋The lunch offering at the Pool Bar was excellent too!

It was the perfect mix of luxury, relaxation and sunshine — it was our first time visiting this particular hotel in Costa Adeje but would have no hesitation in going back!☀️

Been a manic month or so but thanks as always to everyone for your patience and your custom!

Another great booking in the bag for my friend and his fiancée, looking forward to hearing all about the trip to Salou when it comes around ☀️

Time to start getting organised for myself, a busy few weeks coming up starting with Tenerife on Sunday. I will be working through enquiries up to and while I’m away so don’t panic, I will get back to you all ASAP.

Here are just a few simple ways that you can support my small business ✈️

- Book your trips with me instead of your run of the mill booking platforms. Every type of booking includes commission of some form, even when booking yourself. Allow me to be the point of contact with your hotel; arrange added extras to your stay and generally personalise the trip to suit your needs. This will benefit you in the long run and it saves the commission going to the big companies 🤷‍♂️

- You don’t always have to be lost or unsure where you want to go for me to help. Even if you have your flights booked and know exactly where you want to stay, let me know and I can price check for you!

- The proof is in the pudding! I’ve travelled to over 40 countries around the world so like to think this sets me apart from the others.

- Have trust in my ability to sort you a deal! I can often match or beat the prices you see online, as well as add in that personal touch you don’t get from the big companies.

- Recommend me to friends; family; colleagues - word of mouth goes a long way and means so much to me and my business. Share my details with people who may be interested. All contact info is in my bio and I’m only a DM away 📩

Another booking secured ✅

My client contacted me asking to better a price she’d seen for a 4* Half Board in Sicily. I went one better and was able to sort a 5* hotel, with All Inclusive and a room upgrade for a similar price.

A great result for my client and I cannot wait to hear all about the holiday ✈️☀️🍹

The other side of a Travel Agent…

It’s unfortunately not always plain sailing when booking holidays. Sometimes plans can change, whether it’s personal reasons or worldwide conflict putting airspace at risk.

I had my client booked up for a holiday to Dubai, with him and his wife travelling to celebrate 25 years together. Unfortunately, the current conflict in the Middle East has put paid to these plans and I was contacted on Monday asking for the holiday to be cancelled.

Our issue? The bookings were made on a non-refundable basis and the Travel Insurance policy doesn’t cover War related cancellations.

Within 48 hours I was able to raise a refund request for the flights (thankfully, Emirates have been extremely accommodating with affected customers) and I’ve also had confirmation from our Hotel Partner that the cancellation fees have been waived and a full refund honoured.

Now this isn’t a post to say that I can guarantee refunds if/when your travel plans change, particularly if making bookings on a non-refundable rate. However, I just want to highlight the work I can and will do in the background to take away any stress or burden from you if your plans take an unexpected turn.

Obviously I never want to be in the position of cancelling plans and definitely don’t want to make a habit of it! However, this can be the benefit of booking your trips through a Travel Agent and having someone at the end of the phone to assist you in your time of need.

Am I happy cancelling the booking? Obviously not.

Am I happy with the overall outcome? 💯

It’s also nice to get some recognition, a simple text and like / share on socials goes a long way!
