Readyfield Farm Holiday Cottages are located in the tranquil Nottinghamshire Countryside. Family owned and run by the Boddy Family who have farmed on Readyfield Farm for 5 generations. Valley View Cottage is located on the Farm overlooking the stunning Beck Valley, this cottage sleeps two and has been furnished to an extremely high standard throughout. Hall View Cottage is located on the Farm ove

rlooking Beesthorpe Hall and the Beck Valley, this cottage sleeps 6 ( 2 bedrooms and sofa bed in the lounge) , the cottage has been recently renovated and has been furnished to an extremely high standard. Hall Farmhouse is located in the rural hamlet of Winkburn, Nottinghamshire, this cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people and is furnished to a high specification. All three cottages are fully equipped, and include, bed linen, towels, welcome pack, electricity and wifi. Each Cottage has its own parking space and garden area with patio furniture and barbeque. Within a short drive are many attractions including, Rufford Abbey, Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Newark Showground home to many varied events, Historic Market town of Newark on Trent with its Civil War Museum, Antiques shops Market and Castle. Also close by is the quaint village of Southwell with its renowned Minster. A short drive away are the cities of Lincoln and Nottingham both steeped in history. Most of you that have stayed with us will have met our lovely Charlie cat, it’s with sadness that Charlie has passed away, he lived a very long and lovely life here with us and was a prolific hunter of mice and rabbits, often seen in the hedgerows quietly waiting for his catch or just sunbathing! He had reached a grand old age and was still hunting to his last day, sleep tight lovely Charlie, you will be missed ❤️

We have availability throughout May on Halfmoon wood log cabin. The cabins are the perfect location for a cozy and relaxing break away this spring. With the surrounding countryside blossoming, the weather warming up and some beautiful skylines & night time skies at the moment to enjoy from the private HotTub!🌟🌟
The cabin sleeps 6 guests and is perfect for a family getaway with many family activities & experiences here at the farm including Charles’s farm tour & helping out at feeding time with out 12 new baby calves!! We have availability for most weekends throughout May💐💐

Tour our busy family farm with 5th generation young farmer Charles. Meet all of our animals including helping out with & meeting our 12 new baby calves for a hands-on and up close experience! With photo opportunities in our working tractors all while Charles explains how the farm works day to day and is able to answer any questions you may have! May will be the last month that we have our new baby calves in their indoor pen before being turned out for the summer & therefore the last month where guests are able to help out at feed time & meet the calves on Charles’s farm tour!!
It is also a busy month for our local area with Newark & Notts county show on the 10th of May - the perfect family day out and a very popular event with previous guests!!

Set at the heart of the Nottinghamshire coutryside, spring is the perfect time to visit. The surrounding countryside is coming into bloom, including our infamous bluebell woods! Our Story

Readyfield Farm Holiday Cottages are located in the tranquil Nottinghamshire Countryside. Family owned and run by the Boddy Family who have farmed on Readyfield Farm for 5 generations.We have a 550 acre mixed farm growing Oilseed rape,Milling wheats for Warburtons,Winter barley and potaoes, Beef suckler Herd,as well as Turkeys for Gressingham Foods and 5 Holiday lets including two log cabins all on our family farm.We also run conservation schemes on the Farm such as pollen nectar mixes and winter birdfoods.We have a diverse selection of wildlife including Buzzards,Badgers,Deer,Foxes,Brown Hare and Red Kites. The Hayloft is located on the Farm overlooking the stunning Beck Valley, this cottage sleeps two and has been furnished to an extremely high standard throughout,woth a Hot Tub for two.

Stable Cottage is located on the Farm overlooking Beesthorpe Hall and the Beck Valley, this cottage sleeps 6 ( 2 bedrooms and sofa bed in the lounge) , the cottage has been recently renovated and has been furnished to an extremely high standard.Has a large Hot tub for 6. Hall Farmhouse is located in the rural hamlet of Winkburn, Nottinghamshire, this cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people and is furnished to a high specification,also has a large Hot tub to enjoy a wondefull star canopy. All three cottages are fully equipped, and include, bed linen, towels, welcome pack, electricity and free wifi. Each Cottage has its own parking space and garden area with patio furniture and barbeque. Within a short drive are many attractions including, Rufford Abbey, Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest,Sherwood pines for bike enthusiasts, Newark Showground home to many varied events, Historic Market town of Newark on Trent with its Civil War Museum, Antiques shops Market and Castle.
