The shipwrecks at Amble pointing the way down the estuary towards Warkworth castle ~ while not technically ‘ship wrecks’ more abandoned they’re still a fabulous sight especially with aerial photography.

From the shore you’d have no idea they look like this and so so many people tell me they didn’t know they were there every time I share them.

With 10 wrecks in total along this stretch these are the most well preserved and can be seen at low tide opposite the marina area of the harbour.
