Newbury goes a little Italian this Sunday!

The Italian Auto Moto Festival returns to Northbrook Street, and you can come along and admire all the exhibiting vehicles (for free!) between 9:30am and 2pm.

We're delighted to be welcoming the Italian AutoMoto Club back to Newbury for this event, which is once again supporting local charity Lions Club of Newbury.

There's even more for vehicle enthusiasts to enjoy too, as the monthly Farmers' Market is joined by the West Berkshire Classic Vehicle Club, who will also have some classic vehicles on display in Market Place.

It's going to be a great day out if you're a motoring fan, and if you head along early you'll still make it home (or to a pub) in time to catch the Monaco Grand Prix!

Hidden treasures and vintage finds await at the Antique & Vintage Street Market on Sunday 14th June.

Join us in Newbury town centre as we welcome specialist traders from across the region, bringing everything from furniture and vintage fashion to prints, postcards, memorabilia and quirky one-off finds.

The market runs from 10am–4pm along Northbrook Street and is free to attend.

Just over a week to go until the Italian Auto Moto Festival returns to Newbury... Che spettacolo!

Join us on Northbrook Street next Sunday (7th June, 9:30am-2pm), as we welcome automotive enthusiasts from across the country back to Newbury town centre for another fantastic day celebrating Italian automotive history.

It’s completely free to come along, admire the vehicles and meet the owners!

After such a fantastic debut event last year, we’re delighted to once again be working alongside the Italian AutoMoto Club and Lions Club of Newbury, with funds raised through exhibitor tickets helping to support the Lions and the important work they do in the local community.

We’re looking forward to rounding off the week with this month’s Artisan Market, taking place on Sunday 31st May from 10am-4pm.

Head into Newbury town centre and join Renartgades and their wonderful mix of small independent traders across Northbrook Street, Mansion House Street and Market Place.

We absolutely love this!

If you’ve visited GAIL's in Newbury recently, you may already have spotted the beautiful new orange tree mural inside the bakery, which celebrates Newbury’s connection to Michael Bond, creator of Paddington Bear.

The artwork was brought to life by two very talented local artists - Samantha from Restyled By SLC in The Arcade, and Anna from the Swan Inn, Newbury who has plenty of experience running painting workshops. A huge well done to them both!

To celebrate the mural, the bakery has planned a range of activities and giveaways throughout half term, including a Storytelling Session for little ones on Wednesday 27th from 10am-10:30am, and a special offer on Thursday 28th where shoppers who pop in to buy a jar of marmalade will receive a free sourdough loaf - only while stocks last, so we suggested getting in early!

Paddington is looking his best as we head into half term!

Mark your calendars for Sunday 7th June, as the Italian Auto Moto Festival gears up for another year in Newbury town centre.

Join us on Northbrook Street between 9:30am–2pm for this free, family-friendly event, where you can expect to see everything from vintage classics through to modern-day supercars. Last year’s vehicles spanned more than 100 years of Italian automotive history!

The event is organised in partnership by Newbury BID, the Italian AutoMoto Club, and local charity Lions Club of Newbury, promising an exciting day out for locals and visitors of all ages.

Italian vehicle owners are also welcome to sign up (£10 per car, £5 per bike), with all funds raised supporting Newbury Lions and the important work they do in the community.

Victoria Park Family Day returns this Sunday!

Expect Punch & Judy shows, live music and performances on the Bandstand, mobile caving, a free climbing wall, adventure golf, the chance to look around a fire engine and police car, and much more at this free family day out.

The annual Family Day takes place between 12pm and 4pm and is organised by Newbury Town Council. This year also offers the chance to visit the brand new Victoria Park café along with the fully accessible Changing Places facility.
