I am looking for some photographs of 141R568 and the Swiss Classic Train on either the 24 June or 28 October this year. Preferably photos showing the whole train! The magnificent steam locomotive 141R568 runs again on the main line on 28 October. Its route is Vallorbe, leaving at 08:48, Lausanne probably via Lausanne Traige "buckle", stopping to pick up at Lausanne 09:54 - 10:28. Then the climb to Palezieux, and on to Payerne and Lyss. At Lyss 141R568 is joined by 01202 for a double headed run to Bern. Return is via Romont arriving Lausanne 18:01 leaving at 18:18 and arriving back at Vallorbe at 19:00. Rolling stock is the superb Swiss Classic Train with full catering on board and of course a bar with draft Swiss beers. Enquiries to www.141r568.com.

141R568 returns to the main line for a second trip this year! On Saturday 28 October, with the Swiss Classic Train carriages, it will run from Vallorbe departing 08:48 to Lausanne picking up at 09:54 / 10:28 then climbing to Palezieux on to Payerne then to Lyss. At Lyss it will be joined by 01 202 and double head to Bern returning to Vallorbe via Romont and Lausanne. Arrival Vallorbe 19:00. On the outward journey and probably the return the train will traverse the Lausanne Traige "buckle". For booking see
