We are excited to introduce to you our Creative Breaks package. We've teamed up with the gifted artists Trudy, Rosalind and Joanne of the Ash Gallery (just next door ) to offer a rejuvenating and inspiring way to get some art and craft into your life. Book a two or three night stay with us in one of our inspiring boutique art apartments and choose from four different half day masterclasses; stained glass, acrylic or watercolour painting, drawing, or creative photography. You'll make something to take back with you and explore your own creativity with guidance from an experienced artist, all whilst enjoying the autumn colours here in the forests of the Mournes. There's also a couple of opportunities to have a creative writing masterclass with Grainne Tobin, award winning and several times published local poet. We are featuring the poetry of local poet Grainne Tobin over the Autumn in our poetry porch window 😊 it's nice to give passers by and our guests the chance to enjoy a bit of well crafted poetry as part of their day and to raise awareness of our talented local arts community. Grainne had three published books of her work and is preparing a fourth. She's also a prolific contributor to poetry publications and even had one of her poems included in a public sculpture. Well now she can add the Mourne Mountain Art Apartments poetry porch window to her belt ☺️
