Final day of summer camp

We spent some time today working on our fire craft. We covered topics such as how start, maintain and put out a fire as well as how to do such a thing safely being conscious of our environment. Roasting marshmallows and making bread today was also a day of stories and great debate over the fire.

Week 2 day 2 of summer camp.

Despite the forecast giving predicting a wet day it turned out to be a great day with the sun making an appearance. Which was perfect for today's activities of rock climbing and abseiling.

While this might be the last week of this year's summer camps the adventures do not stop there. After a full week of activities we opted to finish on a more relaxed note taking the time to sit by a fire, toast marshmallows and cook/eat some bread on the fire.
