It was the right vibe, the right energy, the right soundtrack for the view and for Peaks and Tides Retreat.

I’ve shared this clip many times since, but with Dolly’s passing, somehow it means just a little bit more today. 🩵

So it felt right to share it again.

Come on in.....⛰️ 🌊

While the views outside tend to steal the show, we wanted what’s inside to feel just as special; calm, comfortable and somewhere you can just settle in.

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, plenty of space to gather, quiet corners to curl up in, and little touches that make it feel more like a home than simply somewhere to stay.

And then, of course, there’s the sea just outside the window. 🌊

Autumn stays are now booking and there’s something pretty special about Newcastle in the fall. 🍂

Things to do near Peaks and Tides......fancy Fly fishing? 🎣

Our son Ryan rarely travels without his fly fishing rod. So he was more than excited to bring it with him during his last visit and explore the waters of Tollymore Forest Park. Ancient trees, moss-covered rocks, and the sound of the river running through the forest. It always feels like another world, and to Ryan, an afternoon of catch and release was simply magical.

It's just another side of Peaks and Tides that we love sharing. The sea, the mountains, the town, some trails and some pretty special places to cast a line. 🎣
