Did you know Herefordshire now has its first wine tasting trip launching this autumn?
We are thrilled to be working on the promotion - A Wine Tour of Herefordshire - Ancient Roots, Fresh Vintage!
Starting this September the trip sees three vineyards collaborating for the first time - White Heron Estate, Frome Valley Vineyard and 1276 Wines to offer a small-group wine tasting break, celebrating the county’s fast-growing wine scene.
Guests will go behind the scenes at all three vineyards, meeting the farming families behind the wines, enjoying award-winning tastings at source, staying overnight at White Heron, and choosing from experiences including an e-bike tour or guided wine walk at White Heron, a vineyard walk and tapas at Frome Valley and the chance to taste wine straight from the tank at 1276 Wines.
Everything is taken care of, with a dedicated concierge and minibus transport on tasting day, so you can simply relax and enjoy discovering one of England’s most exciting emerging wine destinations.
I think this trip really echoes how the Aussie and NZ wineries work together to offer multi-winery experiences and we hope will help attract even more visitors to explore Herefordshire’s Winelands.
The first tours are being offered in September and October, with more dates planned throughout 2027 already.
