We are currently enjoying some beautiful, still autumn days, and there is plenty of fruit on the trees. Nature's gift to so many species, to help them through the winter. On a far smaller scale, I have a seasonal gift for you. Spend a minimum of £30 on prints and have any other A4 print for only £10!*

All you have to do is join my mailing list and you'll receive the code. It could be quite handy for stocking up on those non-perishable, easy to store gifts...

* offer applies to UK and EU only.

Donegal was again the inspiration for my brand new painting, Eden - specifically a handsome couple of greys I met near Rossbeg, which is itself next to a place you may or may not know called Eden.

Similar to Jessie the pony's relationship to Donegal Dream, these two provided the starting point for Eden, but they weren't actually bathing in a coastal inlet when I met them! Are they simply cooling off from one of Ireland's hottest summer days, or they are in another Eden, a world away, waiting to welcome the souls of other horses? Or is it both?

However it strikes you, if Eden speaks to you, act now while the introductory offer lasts: buy a Limited Edition signed A3 Eden print and receive an A4 version FREE https://annewardart.myshopify.com/collections/horses-ponies-and-donkeys. Join the mailing list to receive the offer code*.

It's never too early to be buying non-perishable, easy to store gifts for the end of the year, so why not have the A3 for yourself and give the A4 to someone dear? Or perhaps be even more generous than that!

*Offer applies to EU and UK only.

One of the most anticipated meetings of the year - what used to be known simply as "July Week" but is now more grandly referred to as the "July Festival" - is almost upon us.
We have three days at the beautiful July Course at Newmarket, so I'm including three faces from the Gallery, each with a connection to the racecourse. The great Oasis Dream (who became a leading stallion) won the feature race of the week, the July Cup, back in 2003. Another champion who won at Newmarket is the wonderful Ouija Board. Completing the trio is the mystery character, Finding His Feet, who modelled for me as a foal, and whose mother was Crystal Capella, a former winner of The Princess of Wales Stakes at the July meeting.
Each of these three is available as A3 and A4 prints, at 26% off, until midnight on Sunday (12/7/26). All you have to do is visit https://annewardart.myshopify.com, join my mailing list from the foot of the page and I'll send you the offer code (applies to UK and EU only).

But now is the time to browse the Foal Collection, because to celebrate Royal Ascot 2026, all Foal Prints (A3 and A4) are 26% off, until 21/6/26. The racing enthusiasts among you will know that barely has the Derby finished before Royal Ascot is upon us. Tuesday sees the start of a week of racing at the highest level (and a few fairly vertiginous heels and hats, as well). To celebrate Royal Ascot 2026, I'm offering 26% off all my Foal Collection prints - all you have to do to benefit from this discount is to join The List from the "Subscribe to our emails" link at the foot of this page https://annewardart.myshopify.com/pages/contact. Offer currently applies to UK and Europe only. Happy browsing, and shopping!

Happy Birthday to the wonderful Rudy, now living another version of his best life (in the same place as his racing days, but with just a slightly different routine, I think it'd be fair to say!). Rudy is truly loved, understood and cared for by the best person he could wish for. A lucky boy, and it has been a real pleasure getting to know him and his nearest & dearest.

Still going strong at the age of 23, the ridiculously handsome Big Buck's needs no introduction to followers of the jumps. However, it's worth remembering here his extraordinary sequence of 18 consecutive wins, including a record 4 Stayers' (World) Hurdle victories at Cheltenham.

I painted his portrait as part of my exhibition for the National Horseracing Museum, "The Racehorse: Past and Future". Prints are available from my online shop, https://annewardart.myshopify.com.
