Our local fishery (which is just along the road from us) has now re-opened and is taking bookings.

After months of rest, Wormit Fishings is open for bookings again with fresh fish, untouched water since late summer, and no doubt plentiful early-season sport. The first batch of trout went in today—150 strong, averaging just over 2lbs each, with another two base stockings planned within the next fortnight where we will push the average to 3lb.

🐟 The loch already holds a decent head of well-rested trout, having remained untouched since late summer.

Additionally, we’ve sourced a supply of 3–5lb fish, which will be added over and above the base stock to keep things interesting on the water.

Home From Home
Review: This was our third stay in the Baillie Scott cottage and we intend staying again. We were contacted by Evelyn a few days prior to our stay, who advised that the cottage would be ready for us earlier than the usual check-in time. It is considerate contact like this that makes is love this place so much. The cottage itself is wonderful, spotlessly clean, well appointed and very cosy. We just feel so comfortable there. The location is stunning with lovely views over to Dundee and the Tay and close to Tentsmuir Nature Reserve and St Andrews is just a short drive away. We had a relaxing 5 nights there and already planning to go back.
