Review of Sandford Country Cottages

We had the best time staying at Sandford country cottages for a long weekend with our family. There was 12 of us so we stayed in the Coach house, the Lady bluebell and the Red squirrel. All of which were spotless and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms in each of the cottages were all huge and each had an en-suite aswell. The quality of everything in the cottages such as the bathroom towels and the kitchen utensils were all amazing! The beds and pillows were also very comfortable and there was a lovely hamper of food and snacks left for us in each of the cottages which we loved!

The grounds surrounding the cottages were also beautiful with a big garden area right outside which has a fantastic BBQ hut in the middle. We booked out the BBQ hut on the Saturday night and it was great fun!

Evelyn was an absolutely brilliant host, she was so friendly and helpful and always responded to emails very quickly and answered any questions we had. She was also very accommodating with the BBQ hut we booked, asking us which time suited us for the coals to be warmed up and she sorted all of this out for us.

The cottages are in a great location with lots of lovely walks and places to see nearby. We went to St Andrews for the day which is only a 15 min drive away and we also went to Tentsmuir forest and beach for a lovely walk, again this was only about a 15 min drive away. There are also some take-aways and food shops only a 5 min drive away in Newport-on-tay so lots of options close by.

We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend staying here to anyone! We will definitely be back :)
