We set up this holiday cottage business to share our passion for the beautiful Isle of Wight while creating a welcoming, restorative space for travellers. Combining a love for hospitality with the desire to provide a true "home away from home", we wanted to offer guests a memorable, personalized stay in the heart of our community.

Thoughtfully designed for comfort, each cottage provides a cosy,comfortable and beautiful space to unwind. With miles of nature trails, quiet lanes, and glorious views, it’s an ideal setting for relaxation and truly escaping the stresses of everyday life and enjoying the exquisite pleasure of simply slowing down.
Bring the dog, bring a book and breathe again….
All are dog friendly (we suggest a maximum of 1-2 small/medium dogs as the cottages are so little) all have a lovely view and an outside enclosed decking space, the Bucks Farm cottages also have an enclosed dog secure patio.
While there are some very small seasonal adjustments, we DON’T increase the rates in the school holidays, Bank Holidays or IOW Festival and we DO offer discounted ferry rates.
The cottages are either a double or twin bedrooms with very comfy mattresses!
We can offer absolutely no bars, restaurants or music, or energetic renditions of The Birdy Song 🎵… but we can provide the perfect place to relax and unwind amongst the most glorious countryside; total peace and quiet, real cosy comfort, and chickens and goats on your doorstep.
We’re in a protected Dark Sky area, at night the stars are unbelievable - sit outside on your own patio or the decking area and stargaze, accompanied only by the sounds of owls and possibly the occasional rumble of a nearby sheep or horse.
There are only 3 cottages on our little farm, and not at all “people-y”. Perhaps book more than one if you’d like to stay with friends.
Perfectly situated for exploring all that the Isle of Wight has to offer, from rugged coastlines and sandy beaches to picturesque villages, you’ll have easy access to the best of the Island. We’re about 25 minutes from Fishbourne, Cowes or Yarmouth ferry ports and you’ll find the Island is extremely dog friendly even in the summer with great pubs and restaurants.
Local to various distilleries - Mermaid Gin and Goddards Brewery private bars and distillery where you can sample their amazing gins and craft beer looking out over glorious countryside They even offer delicious meals and they’ll be delighted to tell you how the gin or ales are made.
