☀Monday 19th October 2026
☀5 Days
Pembrokeshire has it all – stunning scenery, a spectacular coastline with miles of
perfect sandy beaches, great attractions, and a very warm Welsh welcome.
The scenery on its own is fabulous, but to spoil you even more, we also take in Tenby, Pembroke Castle and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales.
Hotel - 3* The Cliff Hotel & Spa - Cardigan.
The refurbished and extended Cliff Hotel & Spa is located on a cliff overlooking
Cardigan Bay and enjoys spectacular views. All 73 bedrooms are stylish and decorated to a high standard, with some being in the main building and newer bedrooms in the extension. There is a lift however it does not access some sections of the upper floors.
Dinner is served in the Ballroom and there is a stylish, relaxing bar which has unbelievable views. Fantastic leisure facilities include a saltwater hydro spa with treatment rooms (charges apply), a steam room, sauna, hot tub, and gym. The hotel also has a 9-hole golf course.
Tour Itinerary
Monday - We head westwards towards Wales stopping en-route for lunch. On arriving at the hotel late afternoon, we have Tea/Coffee while our luggage is taken to our rooms.
Tuesday to Thursday at leisure with three included excursions.
Half Day - Today, we enjoy a guided tour of Pembroke Castle, mighty fortress and
birthplace of Henry VII. We have free time for lunch here or in the historic walled town of Pembroke. Attractions include Pembroke Town Hall, home to the Pembroke Murals which depict the history of Pembroke through the ages, Pembroke Museum & the medieval Parish Church of St Mary. We then continue our tour with free time in the town of Cardigan.
Full Day - After a leisurely breakfast we head for Tenby where we can explore at leisure, in this pretty picture postcard town. Stroll around the picturesque harbour, visit the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery or browse the indoor market. With its golden beaches, quant cobbled streets and medieval town walls, Tenby is considered by many to be the prettiest town in Wales.
Full Day - First, we visit the market town of Carmarthen one of the oldest if not the
oldest town in Wales. One of Carmarthen’s most famous early residents was Merlin the Magician. We have time here to explore the town & market which is on Wednesdays. After lunch we head for the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, with rolling fields, a necklace of lakes, gentle cascades and mature woodlands all contribute to a seemingly timeless and ever-present landscape.
Friday – After breakfast, we leave Cardigan and head South stopping en route for
lunch and regular comfort stops, arriving back on the Island early evening.
