Awel y Mor

Awel y Mor Fab 3 bed bungalow with sea views on a quiet cul-de-sac. 10 min walk from beach or high street. Across the bay is the 9-hole links golf course.

Both family-friendly and dog-friendly, this newly-renovated holiday cottage in Newport offers sea views and provides a great base from which to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and beyond. The popular Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and Parrog beach are within half a mile of the front door. From the Parrog, you can launch boats for sailing and fishing or take a canoe up the Nevern estuary

where you can find waders, wildfowl and gulls. Across the estuary, Big Sands is good for body boarding, kite flying, a game of rounders or for bracing dog walks in winter. A short trip inland takes you into the Preseli Hills that overlook Newport and the beautiful Gwaun Valley beyond. By car or by bus (the 'Poppit Rocket' bus service links coastal villages and is great for walkers), you can discover secluded bays, surfing and seal watching in St Davids, plenty of art galleries, castles and a local Iron Age Fort. The village of Newport provides local produce so you never need to travel too far for groceries. In addition, there are two galleries and an antique shop. When it comes to eating out, you can choose from several cafés, a bistro and 4 pubs.
