We are SO SORRY for how late this is being posted😩❤️ we have so so busy with work, and getting the caravan ready for you all☀️

⭐️ With all our bookings- we will send out confirmation messages, with payment due dates and date confirmation, along with our NEW RULES and information. Make sure you read them. 💵✏️ MAKE NOTE OF YOUR FINAL PAYMENT DATE so we don’t have to keep contacting you. All final balances plus damage deposit should be paid 8 weeks before. Deposits are non-refundable for non payment or cancellation other than unavoidable circumstances which we will obviously review fairly. All details of all occupants must be sent to us before final payment date.

All our holidays will now be charged with a £100 refundable damage deposit. This will be refunded back to you once our cleaner has been and checked everything is as it should be. Should there be any problems, this deposit will be kept dependant of cost and circumstances. We have said before and hopefully won’t have to say it this time again, we accept accidents happen. IF IT DOES, LET US KNOW! 🧹🧼

If we ever needed a visual reminder of how harsh this winter has been it was this. A plain jet wash wouldn’t have cut it this year. Algae and litchen remover added last week and then finished off with the jet wash on Thursday.
The results make the time spent worthwhile, later than planned this year, we’ve not had a weekend in it ourselves yet but it’s finally ready for the first Easter holiday week.
Dates posted tomorrow of what we have left remaining. Need a last minute Easter holiday week, drop us a message. Look forward to welcoming our returning and new visitors this year. ☀️

Apologies for our late post this year. It’s been a bit delayed with the amount we’ve had on and only just getting up to the caravan at the weekend to start the cleaning.
It should all be done early next week. We will post our remaining dates by next week. All summer school holidays have been taken and went before this year.
We have one week left of Easter remaining. 4th-11th April. Drop a message if you have a date enquiry as many other have and will post the remaining dates once we’ve posted our photos of our final visit before our first guest arrives.

A big thank you to Shoreshine Carpets who’ve done our annual carpet clean as well as an upholstery clean on the sofas and dining room chairs, they’ve done a fantastic job!
A polite reminder to our guests that they must remove their footwear before going in the van and not to go in an out of the decking in socks or bare feet to then come in on the carpets. Please wear shoes outside on the decking and remove them before coming in.

The shoe box at the side of the door has also been repaired, this may look like it is a seat and safe to sit on but it isn’t. It is for shoe storage only and not strong enough for a seat.
The caravan has had abother deep clean as we look forward to welcoming our next guests in the May half term and our other guests in June.
We still have a couple of weeks in June and July available before being fully booked for the summer holidays. We will start posting our recommendations of places to visit again for our guests this year to help you get the best out of your holiday as always. 🌞 🌊🍦🍹🏖️

🌟 Facilities and Caravan Update 🌟

Well all I can say is what a fantastic but busy weekend that was.
Only one place to start…..
The new facilities are a very welcome addition and will only make your holidays an even better stay than they were before. The park have done a great job!
Pizza Box- The pizzas have always been very good but now they have the stone baked option only making them even better.
Scoops- lots of choice of flavours and the option to add a waffle with it as well, which went down very well with the kids. There is a good sized outdoor seating area with heated lamps in one area also. They are going to be adding beer taps at another unit also, should be this year but I’ll update you all on that.
The pirate ship and crazy golf has had a facelift and tidy up with also adding a few new obstacles on some of the holes.

Sports Bar- 2 darts boards with the option of a paid interactive option with numerous games. 3 brand new pool tables and a curling lane. They’ve also increased the space and seating and completely rebranded the whole area, they’ve done a great job.

Arts and Crafts Den- brand new again and lots of activities available. Pottery Painting, Build your own teddy, sand art, tie dye t-shirt making all available. The kids enjoyed a bit of pottery painting and it’s all finished off with gloss and placed overnight in a kiln, making them look as good as something you’d buy in a shop.

Fishing- The lakes and banks have had quite a bit of maintenance done and they’re looking fantastic, including Canal re-opening, this is a match/pleasure fishing lake that has been used for stocking the last two years but will be open in two weeks after it’s settling period has finished. On site tackle shop fully stocked and looking great.

Caravan, we didn’t finish until 7:30pm last night getting it all ready, the sun set views made it worth while. Everything was looked after and kept safe with the winterisation, it’s had its deep clean as well as all windows and decking cleaned, jet washed and is all looking brand new again. We’ve added a new vax Hoover to the cleaning cupboard also, which is much better than the previous one. PAT testing and boiler service being done this week.
I’ll add the fishing prices for the year in the comments. It’s nice to see a good amount of investment being put in to the park and the word from the general manager was this is hopefully just the start, their plans next are for the showbar and restaurants to be refurbished and re-designed as well as other activities being added.
All pool activities such as inflatables and aqua jets are available, Milkshake mornings for the young children and the evening entertainment have also had a change to the programme meaning more things to do with the entertainments team.
I’m sure all our guest this year will have a great holiday, we still have one Easter holiday week and one May half term date pending payment for one of the weeks left with all other school holidays booked. It’s great to be back, we can now appreciate coming to the caravan for the weekend.
Not all play though, set up and maintenance being done so it will be ready for our guests this year.

We have been invited to sample the new pizza and ice cream shacks on the park tomorrow, we look forward to posting the photos of the new facilities over the weekend, including the new bar and sports area. 🌞 🍦 🍕 🎯 🎨
