✨ We were lucky enough to attend the opening night of the brand-new NICI Hotel in Newquay, and what an incredible experience it was! ✨

The transformation of the old Victoria Hotel is simply stunning, and from the moment we arrived, the team made us feel so welcome. The staff were attentive, professional, and couldn’t do enough for us throughout the evening.

We enjoyed dinner in the beautiful Amalfis restaurant, where the food was absolutely delicious. This stunning pasta dish was not only packed with flavour but presented to perfection too! 🍝😍

If you’re looking for somewhere special for a meal or drinks in Newquay, the NICI is definitely worth a visit.

Have you visited the stunning poppy fields at West Pentire yet? 🌺❤️

Just a short drive from Trevella, the famous poppy and corn marigold fields overlooking Crantock Beach burst into colour every early summer, creating one of Cornwall’s most breathtaking natural displays. The fields are managed on National Trust land and are specially cultivated to encourage wildflowers, pollinators, and local wildlife, making them one of the few remaining traditional wild arable landscapes in Britain. 🌿🐝

If you’re planning a visit, you can park in the car park near the Bowgie Inn and enjoy a beautiful walk across the headland. Please remember to stick to the footpaths and help protect this incredible habitat for future generations. ❤️

👀 Could this be the elusive Chough? ❤️🖤

We spotted this little beauty at West Pentire today and couldn't believe our luck!

The Chough is Cornwall's iconic bird, famous for its glossy black feathers, bright red beak and distinctive red legs. Once lost from Cornwall for decades, Choughs made a remarkable return in 2001 and have been slowly increasing in numbers ever since – making every sighting feel a little bit special.

Did you know?✨ The Chough is a member of the crow family.✨ It's known for its incredible aerial acrobatics along our dramatic coastline.✨ In Cornish folklore, King Arthur is said to live on as a Chough.✨ They love coastal cliffs and grassland, making places like West Pentire the perfect habitat.

We're pretty sure we've spotted one of Cornwall's most famous residents! Have you seen a Chough around the Cornish coast recently? ❤️🖤
