Well the day has come to say goodbye to Sally's static caravan . It really has not hit home yet , just felt we were taking stuff home for the winter months .
I really want to thank every single Person who had booked with us , 4 years have gone far too quick . You have really made my dreams come true in owning a static caravan , my first worry when doing this was I hope we have enough money to pay the rent and rates and not get in trouble . Lucky we did and paid on time .
It had been a hard 4 years , but I am so glad I took it on . We were talking about it today how much we have done in the 4 years , we are both self employed , Trevor put an extension on at our house which took a year and half to do with his normal work , we have a lovely 13 year old son and dog to look after and our house. Plus doing all bookings , receipts , sorting out safety checks for caravan , insurance , gas , water and electricity to pay . Working out if I can clean or get my lovely friend to help me . Telling site who is arriving and departing , telling guests times and where to get keys if late arriving . . Adversing on Facebook , getting back to guests So behind the scene it has been non stop . But loved it we have had such lovely guests who really looked after our caravan while staying , some not so good first year took stuff from us which was really upsetting , but once I wrote a note in folder it stopped .
Anyway the caravan has been sold to a couple who are going to built a house so the caravan is going to be lived in for a while , which is lovely to know it will be used , thank you so very much for helping me carry out my dream Trevor is now worried what my next adventure will be , nothing for a while time for more family time now . Love to you all , please keep in touch love to hear how you all are bye for now ###
