Yay for Friday! 🤗 It’s been lovely to have a couple of beach days here in Cornwall, enjoying this beautiful sunshine, nice to blow the cobwebs away…

Sharing with you a recent make, made with beachy blues and aqua tones, glass powders and little glass pieces and a very important statement written in the sand!!

Hey everyone! 👋🏼 Love a Monday that isn’t really a Monday and a sunny one too ~ bonus! ☀️

I’ve just stepped out of the workshop for 10 minutes to sit in this glorious sunshine and to tell you that over the next few weeks I’ll be popping some of my “Happiness Comes In Waves” pieces into the kiln (might make a nice Christmas pressie for your favourite sea swimmer?! 😉)

𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙮 𝙍𝙉𝙇𝙄 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙮 2024!

𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬, 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙮, 17𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩.

And here’s what we have in store…

▪️10.00am - Stalls open and Meet Mr F-T from Big F-T's Shack Rock pooling Adventures to join a Rock Pool Ramble meet on the beach. Free to join - although donations are welcome.

▪️10.30am – Parade begins at the bottom of Marcus Hill, lead by Kernow Pipes and Drums, Newquay Mayor and Newquay Town Crier.

▪️11.20am – Parade arrives at Newquay harbour for the official opening by the Mayor of Newquay.

▪️11.30am - Presentation of Long Service Awards to Lifeboat volunteer crew.

▪️12 noon Newquay inshore lifeboats, ‘Uncle Johnny’ and ‘Enid Mary’ will be launched to greet the volunteer crew of the ‘Spirit of Padstow’ all weather lifeboat.

▪️12.30pm - Demonstration by RNLI Lifeguards Newquay.

▪️1:00pm - Arrival of Padstow Lifeboat with opportunities to tour the boat.

▪️1:30pm - Newquay Rowing Club Singers

▪️2:00pm - Newquay / Padstow Lifeboats demonstration.

▪️2:45pm - Announcement of raffle results.

▪️3:00pm - Stalls close.

▪️3:30pm - Walker Cup Gig Race - Lifeboat Crew race against members of Newquay Rowing club.

All day - Stormy Stan photo opportunities.

(Please note this timetable is a guide only. Times and events may change because of weather and sea conditions and for operational reasons)

Our friends from Radio Newquay will be broadcasting live and providing commentary throughout the day.
