Crantock’s location within Cornwall means nowhere is too far away to explore. The gorgeous waters of Constantine, Booby’s Bay, Mother Ivy’s Bay and Harlyn are all approx 35 minutes drive away!! 👌

It’s nearly poppy season here in Crantock 😍.

Nothing to see here yet (these were spotted in the village flowering early, up against a very warm wall) but by the start of June, West Pentire headland should be ablaze with the usual beautiful display that these guys usually put on*.

Churchtown Cottage has 1 WEEK left between now and the end of August, which is week commencing 30-May, so if you want to chance seeing these beauties doing their thing, this week might be the perfect one. Currently at £805 for the week!

A huge congratulations to Crantock Rowing Club on their very first trip to the held in the this weekend!

They can often be spotted training up and down the river over the high water.

Book a table, sit back and watch them do all the hard work!

Our winter closure enabled us to do a bit of work at the cottage 👩‍🎨🛠️

✔️Repainted in some rooms
✔️ Woodwork repaint and new carpet on the stairs and landing
✔️Rustic units in to replace the old grey ones in the bathroom
✔️New Lino in the bathroom

All fresh and good to go for another season ☀️

Just taken another summer week booking, so these weeks are getting thinner in the ground.

Today we welcome our first guests of 2025! The sky isn’t quite so blue today, but it’s Cornwall and that’s why those who love this place don’t care!!

We manage our own bookings so to keep our costs lower than those who use large booking websites - including many of the static caravans on the local campsites 😳.

Finally ……. for those who have wasted a hot sunny morning sat halfway up the road in the queue for the beach car park ‘know’ what a deal breaker the fact we are WALKING distance to the beach is 🏝️🐕‍🦺🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼👌!!
