We want to reassure you that EdenGate is not, in fact, run by children. These are our staff members.
They are fully grown adults who are completely in charge of your tour. But they were pretty cute, you’ve got to admit.

What you don't see, because when we plan a tour for you, every detail is thought through and important. 🎯

🌍 We don't just choose a location for the sake of it, because it's popular or easy to get to. Each destination has a reason behind it, almost always connected to the local people we're connected to, who we want you to have the joy of meeting.

⏱️ Timing matters a lot. We have to get things right and we have to pay attention to details.

👥 We invest in relationships, we want our partners to feel our love and care and know that they are a priority for us. We want those connections to make sense and bring enrichment to both sides of the table.

📍Destination: Cambridge, United Kingdom 🇬🇧

Most people come to Cambridge for the punting, the Gothic architecture, and the chance to walk courtyards that have hosted some of history's greatest minds. And all of that is worth it.

But there's more than this if you come to Cambridge on tour with us. Here are some highlights/historical pearls:

- In the early 1500s, a group of scholars began meeting secretly at a tavern called the White Horse Inn. They called it "Little Germany" because behind closed doors, they were reading the forbidden writings of Martin Luther.
- Erasmus lived and lectured in Cambridge, laying the scholarly groundwork that made the Reformation possible.
- William Tyndale studied here before risking and ultimately giving his life to put the Bible in the hands of everyday people.
- Thomas Cranmer was shaped by these streets before his own defining moment of faith and fire.
And then there's King's College Chapel, one of the most breathtaking buildings on earth , where choral evensong has rung out for over 500 years, an unbroken thread of worship connecting you to every generation that sang there before you. 🎶🕯️

Some places are just beautiful. Cambridge is beautiful and alive with story.
Would you want to walk these streets? 👇

We often get asked "Is this a religious tour?" ⛪

If you've come across our page or website and you're wondering what we're all about, we want it to be clear from the get-go what our vision and passion is. Our planning, itineraries, tours and client service needs to point to one place: celebrating the person of Jesus.

What that doesn't mean about our tours:
- kneeling down and praying all day
- only visiting churches on tour
- no fun
- that you need to be a "good person" to join us

A freshly brewed pot of tea. Delicious scones just out of the oven. Chit chat that gives you a warm sense of home.

British afternoon tea is just one tiny tile in the mosaic of historical hospitality, a culture where the kettle goes on the moment a guest walks through the door, where strangers are offered a seat and a biscuit before a single word of business is spoken, and where "fancy a cuppa?" is less a question and more a declaration of care.

We travel not just to see new places, but to be changed by them: to sit at a different table, hear different stories, and discover how God's grace shows up in the everyday moments of people around the world.

We asked our own Samuel Chestnutt where he loves to go most in the city, and his answer captures it perfectly:

“One moment you’re standing in the heart of the city, surrounded by history, and the next you’ve stepped into the meadows in front of Christ Church, completely at peace among the animals and open sky. Then there’s the Radcliffe Camera, one of the most breathtaking libraries in the world, and the feeling of simply walking those ancient streets, knowing that every stone has a story to tell.”

That contrast between ancient libraries and open meadows, grand architecture and unhurried nature, is exactly what makes Oxford so unexpectedly alive.

Cathy and Ashley are a mother and daughter who travelled with EdenGate recently. They wanted to turn a trip together into something intentional.

“My mom and I live across the country from each other so it was very special to carve out time for a mother-daughter Paris trip. We were able to chat with EdenGate about our ideas, dreams, budget and desired pace, and they helped us land on the country, the city, and the places/activities to do. I have had more opportunity to travel than my mom; having EdenGate take care of all the practical details (and more!) made it possible to focus on the sweet chance to spend time with my mom and not be bogged down with so many details.”

If there’s someone in your life you’d love to set aside time for, whether that’s a parent, a child, or someone else close to you, we’d love to help you make it happen.

Reach out and start the conversation. We’ll take care of the details, so you can focus on being together.
