We rarely have trouble from the Dartmoor ponies when we ride through them. They usually just look on or shift over.

It’s true we mostly amble at a steady pace looking at fabulous views on Dartmoor. But we do also have great canter stretches for those moments we fancy a blast. This visitor has ridden all over the world but Dartmoor was up there with the best of them.

I’m a guide for people wanting to explore Dartmoor with their horses, We’re not a school or pony trekking center. But, occationally, just occationally. When the circumstances are right, I lend an expereienced rider a horse for a little adventure. With reactions like this, it’s worthwhile, needless to say, she appreciated the views.
