Parke National Trust

Head to Parke for a wildlife-themed family picnic on Thursday 13 August.

Rangers from the National Trust, Bug Life, Pine Marten Project and Bovey Hedgehog group will be running some fun activities to get stuck into, and there'll be games for all the family.

Plus, thanks to Better Places there will be a limited number of free packed lunches for children, funded by the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. You might like to bring camping chairs or a rug, plus a picnic or snacks. Refreshments are available at Home Farm Café too.

Free event, car park charges apply if you're not a National Trust member. It's also possible to walk or cycle to Parke from Bovey Tracey, half a mile away.
No need to book, children must be accompanied.
Accessibility: The picnic area is accessible via a grassy path off the driveway between the car park and the café. There are wheelchair accessible tables.

Limited tickets are available, so don't miss out!

All sessions run from 6 pm to 9 pm. Daytime tickets do not carry over to evening sessions and, of course, Wildwood Members attend for FREE (present your membership card as usual on arrival).
