You may notice it a little quiet at the cabin during your visit, no early morning or late evening calls between the peacocks..

Unfortunately, Percy has gone into hiding in our neighbours' tree. It seems he may have been attacked by something and has lost all his tail feathers.. needless to say, he is feeling a little self-conscious and wary.

In other news Mrs P, or maybe even Pip I can no longer tell the difference has had 3 beautiful babies 😍 she did abandoned the last egg in the nest which my sister successfully hatch so that little cutie is now a house chick with a human mum.

Although never suggested by guests, it's always in the back of my mind that storage in the bedrooms for clothes/suitcases is limited.

I'm thinking something foldable. What would you prefer folding luggage rack or folding wall mounting clothes rail with hangers?

We've only gone and bagged ourselves a Customer's Choice Award 🙌🏡

The Customers’ Choice award is given to holiday homeowners whose properties have consistently achieved an "overall" rating of 4.75 out of 5 (or higher) from at least five reviews collected between 1st January and 31st December each year.

Nevertheless, no one is perfect, and there is always room for improvement. I will were possible make any changes suggested by guests to ensure that staying with us is as comfortable as possible. Whilst not every suggestion is possible (usually for financial reasons), I feel it is the little things that make the biggest difference such as excellent communication, being spotlessly clean, a warm welcome, and a thoughtful welcome hamper.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all our guests, old, returning and new we couldn't have done this without you.

🌳👁 Excellent views
👞 Quiet beautiful walks from the doorstep where you probably won’t see anyone else.

The Cabin Cefn Mawr welcome you to bring your furry friends. We can accommodate a maximum of 2 dogs.

Please be aware the private garden to The Cabin is not gated or secure and there are sheep grazing the field directly in front of the cabin.

Mating season is usually early spring through to late summer. During this time, they can become a little noisy during the late evenings and early mornings. Percy may become territorial, and Mrs P will find a quiet spot to lay her eggs.
