Some photos from today!

I am sill awake though I’m not sure how… been up since 4am and we’re still 195kms away from Tirana on the longest bus tour in the world…. It’s 8pm!!

That said, it’s been amazing and I have seen some stunning Albanian 🇦🇱 scenery….. from the Blue Eye natural spring, majestic mountains and mountain passes to the beautiful turquoise sea of Ksamil (which is only 6 miles from Corfu!Tirana is 183 miles from Corfu, for context!)

Wonderful memories made!

That one where you’re on a 16.5 hour day trip and the bus breaks down in the mid 30’s heat in the middle of nowhere and every attempt to jump start doesn’t work….. huge well done to all the guys who helped jump start!

I took far too many videos and not enough photos, but here at the small selection of my day.

Thanks so much to Cindy for the tour of Tirana and taking me to a traditional Albanian restaurant for lunch.

We visited Skanderbeg Square, the Pyramid and the Sky Tower!

And now I’m having an early night even for me!!!

It’s 5.57am and I’m on the flight ready to go to Albania 🇦🇱 ♥️

My anxiety has been through the roof this morning but it’s been a very hectic few weeks at work. Her Travel Circle is also growing very quickly and takes up all our spare time and I did get less than 4 hours sleep…. And let’s face it, a 1.30am start for all that is a LOT.

I’m really looking forward to my trip and so grateful to Melissa for allowing me to stay and giving me all the info on the taxi etc.

I would be way more nervous without her waiting for me! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✈️🇦🇱

Back in today flying to Albania 🇦🇱 with Ryanair.

I’m exhausted but to be fair I only had less than 3 hours sleep!! These early flights seem a great idea when you book them. Hope I can get a good sleep on the plane!

Albania here I come! I’ll see you soon!!!
