Coast Video Club

Coast Video Club The Coast Video Club is a group of people who like to make videos, both as a club and as an individual. We meet every Thursday from 7pm until 9:30pm.

We enter club competitions, inter-club and national competitions. Every other week we have workshops and help each with editing techniques. We also have speakers and film makers who come to show us their expertise and visit other clubs to see their work.

Although The Coast Video Club closed in 2018, Tynemouth Video Club is very much up and running and has been for many years. Last year was the 60th anniversary of the what was the Cine section of Tynemouth Photography Club, a well established club. If you are interested in making videos, joining other enthusiastic and like minded people and picking up tips for future projects, please look at our website:

The Coast Video Club closed their doors for the last time on the 24th of May after 21 years. We are very sad but hope to keep on filming as individuals and wish everyone in other clubs all the best for the future.

IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE MUST ADVISE THAT AFTER 21 YEARS THE COAST VIDEO CLUB WILL CLOSE AT THE END OF MAY.
Falling membership over the past few years has taken its toll and it is no longer viable to carry on. We would like to thank everyone for their contributions and support in the past and send our best wishes to all the clubs we have been involved with over the years.
