Many thanks to all of our patrons who have sent us a Christmas Card this year. Due to ever increasing postage costs, we have decided not to send cards this year, but will donate to charity instead. Thanks to everyone for your patronage this year and Shirley and I look forward to welcoming many of you back in 2026. In the meantime, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

A few weeks back, we had a couple on their first visit to Dragonfly. Barrie and Geraldine Blackledge enjoyed their stay so much that they re-booked as soon as they got home and they're back this week. And they arrived with a gift for Shirley. Thank you both and welcome back. I have a feeling that you guys are going to be regular visitors

Another parting gift from another lovely couple. Lynne and Mark are regulars here. Mark loves his fishing, Lynne has only just taken up the sport and outfished Mark with the biggest carp but Mark caught the most. Looking forward to having you both back next June. Thank you for the card and gifts

Our annual maintenance regime is now in full swing. Boiler has been serviced, Lounge suite replaced and now the cottage is being redecorated top to bottom. Just need to sort the PAT testing, then update the fire risk assessments and we are done for another year.

We said goodbye to our last guests of the season today. Now we begin our annual winter maintenance schedule including Servicing the boiler, pat testing, Total redecoration and updating Fire Risk assessments. It's been another good year with excellent reviews. We've seen some new faces and many returning guests and we thank each and everyone of you for your custom. Looking forward, we are keen to see all of our returning guests again along with some more new faces.
