💙Grecotel Corfu Imperial 2024

Having just came back from our conference at this hotel, I can't recommend this hotel enough! It's beautiful!

The Grecotel Corfu Imperial couldn’t have picked a more perfect postcode if it tried. The hotel’s perched on a tree-blanketed peninsula that juts into the sparkling waters of the Ionian Sea, and comes with four pretty private beaches. As if the stunning location wasn’t enough, the hotel is also filled the rafters with facilities – think three pools, five restaurants, and four bars.

Days here revolve around the water. Hop between the two outdoor pools (heated in May and October), which are both edged by spacious sun terraces topped with pristine parasols and loungers. You’ll have sea views from the water, too. There’s also an adults-only pool tucked in the serene spa, also heated in May and October.

So, let’s talk restaurants. The main eatery is a buffet place overlooking the sea, which serves around-the-world dishes and runs regular theme nights. Then you’ve got four à la carte eateries, which serve up French, Asian, Latin American, and Italian dishes, as well as seafood. And when it comes to drinks, you can take your pick between four bars, which include drinking spots by the beach and the poolside.

On this tour we cycle 430 km over eight days (an average of 54 km per day) with further optional rides available. The route follows mainly flat or gently undulating terrain with about 90% on tarmac and 10% on earth/gravel. There are steeper and longer climbs in the Central Highlands on day 5. Around 75% of the route is on quieter roads and the busiest sections are when we cycle in Nha Trang and Hue. You should be comfortable cycling in traffic. A support vehicle accompanies the rides throughout the tour with the exception of part of the Mekong Delta route. We have graded the route as moderate.
