Today the vinyl releases accompanying this years National Album Day have been announced on the official website, nationalalbumday.co.uk
This year is the ninth National Album Day which has been set up to remind us of the importance & beauty of the album as an artform.
Many artists give us the whole package as an immersive piece of art with a deliberately set out musical journey complemented by album art to dive into whilst listening & many have become household names thanks to this.
The day encourages us to take time to engage with an album in its entirety & has suggested themes each year from which to approach it from, this year being "Icons".
To this end the record companies are releasing limited edition vinyl albums from iconic artists just for National Album Day 2026 which is on Saturday 17th October, if you get a chance please have a look at the list here https://www.nationalalbumday.co.uk/2026-releases-a-p & here https://www.nationalalbumday.co.uk/2026-releases-q-z
Do please let us know if there is any of these albums that you'd like to order in & we'll get that sorted, drop us a line via Facebook (spunoutnorthampton), Instagram (spunout.shop), email ([email protected]) or phone 01604 230064.
