Record Store Day 2025! 🤘

It’s been an amazing success here at Spunout, so much support from so many lovely customers, maybe the most attending in the morning ever. We thank everyone who came to the event for their brilliant support and patience as we worked to get everyone served & to Ratatouille’s Revenge, The Barratts & Headswitcher who made the afternoon’s celebration go with a bang. I’m sure that everyone who saw their sets were blown away!

It’s Spun Out’s 25th anniversary this year and we cannot thank our amazing costumers -loyal to newly found- enough. We can’t do this without the support you give us, turning up every year early hours, you guys are the real stars of the show. Thank you again.

With under seven days until this years Record Store Day celebrations we are putting the final touches to what is shaping up to be an awesome day. We've live bands Ratatouille's Revenge, The Barratts & Headswitcher playing during the afternoon which we're really excited about & for the first year ever we have a breakfast delivery service for those queuing up for the exclusive releases provided by Bread & Butter Kitchen. We’ve lined up Leeds psychedelic rock band Ratatouilles Revenge to play during the afternoon as well as Northampton bands The Barratts and Headswitcher, which will be brilliant! With just two weeks to go until this years Record Store Day (12th April) we're busy logging on the first arrivals of the limited edition records that are coming out for the day. We have a great line up of bands playing during the afternoon, Ratatouille's Revenge, The Barratts & Headswitcher to help us celebrate, we hope that you can join us for the big day!

We've had a lot of interest in the releases for this year's Record Store Day which is happening on Saturday 12th April. We've also lined up Leeds psychedelic rock band Ratatouilles Revenge to play during the afternoon on the day which will be brilliant. It would be great if anyone has any requests of items they'd like us to stock for RSD gets in touch as the deadlines for us to order some of the records are looming near already (some are due this Friday coming!). For our first post of the new year we wish everyone a happy & successful 2025. We'd also like to share the announcement of the date for this year's Record Store Day which is going to happen on Saturday 12th April. Spunout, along with thousands of independent record shops across the world, will be celebrating the unique culture of the high street record store with live bands, DJ sets & hundreds of the limited edition vinyl, cd & cassette releases that come out for the day.
