It’s been wonderful to see the town centre buzzing with families, friends and Pokémon fans of all ages, hunting down all the hidden characters! 🧡

If you haven’t joined the adventure yet, there’s still time! Pick up a trail map from one of the four hosts (Goblin Coffee & Beer, Vinnies, Purl & Peach and Ryman) or download it online, then head off to track down the Pokémon hiding in shop windows across Northwich. 🗺️🔍

There are four Great Northwich Pokémon Hunt hosts in Northwich town centre where you can pick up a hunt sheet, including Vinnies, Goblin Coffee & Beer, Purl & Peach and Ryman.

When picking up your hunt sheet from Vinnies, make sure to stop off for a milkshake, smoothie or cupcake while you decide your Pokémon plan of action! 🧁🧋

Drop into Howden Insurance tomorrow (15th April) between 9am–12pm, for a morning of coffee, cake, and kindness at their Northwich office, 18 Witton Street.

They’re hosting a feel-good Easter Egg Donation & Auction — pop in to donate an egg, or buy one on the day, with all proceeds going to Northwich Community Support, a fantastic local foodbank charity. 💛

Any leftover eggs will be gifted to local primary schools ahead of Easter – so your generosity will go even further.

Did you know Wild Tots Play Café at Barons Quay has reopened?

Under new ownership, there have been lots of fantastic changes, including the launch of a new baby sensory room, the introduction of a Mini Market, Coffee Shop, and fancy-dress section for older kids to enjoy role play, as well as healthier additions to the menu and a new cake station. The next few weeks will see the launch of a whole range of new classes, including Baby Ballet, Rhythm Time and Adventure Babies, so there’s lots to look forward to!

With a real focus on family fun, the new look Wild Tots is open daily from 9.30am to 5pm. To see what’s on offer and what’s coming up, make sure to follow them on social 🙌

Cover2Cover, Northwich’s new independent second-hand bookshop, is now open! 🙌

Massive congratulations to the team, who have worked tirelessly over the last 3 weeks to get the shop ready for opening 📚

There’s a fantastic range of all genres, including a wonderful vintage science fiction collection (some of which are 80ish years old!), which have all been cleaned and bagged to protect them.

The children’s section has been priced low deliberately (starting at 50p) to encourage a love of reading amongst the younger generation.

Books that are donated that aren’t in a good enough condition to sell are recycled – and it’s nice to know that within 8 weeks of being recycled, it becomes a new book 😊

In the coming months, you can look forward to lots of events, book and poetry readings and local author events! 🙌

While the team do welcome book donations, they ask for you to wait a few weeks, to give them time to settle in.

Located at 90 Witton Street, Cover2Cover is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am – 4pm.
