This week Paul celebrated 2 years at the helm at Northwich Art Shop. Stocking over 6,000 different products – people travel for miles to Northwich to pick up their art supplies, we are so lucky to have the shop in our town centre! Congratulations Paul! 🎨

What a truly wonderful morning was had yesterday! To launch the town’s butterfly-friendly pledge, 25 schools from the local area came into Northwich to help plant pollinator-friendly plants across the town centre, with help and guidance from Northwich Town Council, Butterfly Conservation, Northwich BID and Northwich Rotary. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged in the process and proud of their work! Each planter now has a plaque attached to it, which details which school helped to plant it, and more details on butterfly-friendly plants. Thank you to everyone involved 🦋

If you’ve ever wanted to know more about the history of Northwich, Radio Northwich’s Now and Then programme is the perfect show for you! Taking place on the first Friday of every month, you’ll be transported back to a historical period of time, where you’ll hear about what Northwich would have looked like during that time period, and what you may still be able to see today. There’s an array of historians, archaeologists and college students who take part in the show alongside radio journalist Mike Cooksley, providing a fascinating insight, and the opportunity to learn something about the town that you may not have known before.

Using their stairmaster, they’re challenging all their members to join them in climbing the summit of Mount Everest (8,848.86m) – as many times as possible! Wishing you all the best of luck!
