After grit blasting Nb Boo is having some welding work completed on some pits we have identified, once complete she will get another blast on these areas before the 1st 2pac epoxy is applied

A customer called us asking us to make a new door lining for there side doors as it fell off, a new solid oak lining made to match the original and glazed.

Our engineer Oliver is carrying out a full service on a beta 43 this morning on Nb Days Eye before they head out on there cruise 🚢

We have Nb Boo in with us at the moment for gritblasting and 2 pac epoxy hull coating, anodes, roof repaint plus extras. More pics when complete. 😁

We’ve had a brand new Bickerstaffe boat in the workshop being prepared for her new owners to take ownership, she’s looking stunning 🤩 and today we have had Robin Wagg from Real Signwriting adding the finishing touches, she’s definitely a Bickerstaffe 😍

Today we waved Nb Dexters Star off on its journey to the Crick Boat Show over the last few weeks we have been working with eltonmossboatbuilders & Rob & Caroline Ortomarine bringing the boat together for Paul & Anthony Narrowboat Life Unlocked, she will be open to view at the show, so if your there pop in and have a look around her. 🙂

It’s that time of year again, off to Crick Boat Show 2026 with our two trusty trailers, displaying Carefree Cruising Boatshare Limited share boats, Boatfinder brokerage’s new and used boats as well as Narrowboat Life Unlocked new boat NB Dexter’s Star. She will also be on her way early next week. Thank you so much to Ortomarine and Middlewich Narrowboat Services for the work they have completed on this state of the art, electrically propelled, hand crafted narrowboat. We look forward to showing you around next weekend.
