Twelve days of tapas, port wine and truly epic driving.

This unforgettable journey blends the wild beauty of Spain’s Picos de Europa with the sunlit charm of Portugal — from dramatic mountain passes to vineyard roads, coastal scenery and historic cities.

Here’s what’s in store:

Pre-Tour – Overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Santander

Day 1 – León: scenic drives into Spain’s beautiful north

Day 2–6 – Base near Braga with daily routes to Peneda-Gerês National Park, Porto, Bragança & Montesinho Park, and the famous N222 road through the Douro Valley

Day 7–9 – Head south into Portugal’s Centro region and explore Serra da Estrela’s glacial valleys, high-altitude roads and mountain views

Day 10 – Return north to León via the golden city of Salamanca

Day 11 – Full day conquering the Picos de Europa’s winding mountain passes and deep gorges

Day 12 – Final scenic route via Parque Natural Montaña Palentina before returning to Santander for the ferry home

Expect a perfect mix of relaxed days, iconic driving roads, culture, and unforgettable views.
