This cottage is steeped in history, very clean, all amenities have been carefully chosen to have a great self catering stay. What makes this cottage stand out is the local people and pub 2 doors down The Stag, where you can enjoy beautiful food and cocktails surrounded by the nicest staff and locals. The area has beautiful walks, it is central for the Norfolk Broads and seaside areas, with the cleanest beaches. There is lots to see and do in Norfolk it’s well worth a visit for either a long weekend or like us a week. Would recommend Braemar cottage for families and couples.

A breathtaking view over the marshes looking towards Berney Arms Mill near Breydon Water🧡

This iconic Broads landmark, which is a scheduled monument and possibly one of the most remote drainage mills in the Broads, has stood watching over the landscape since 1865.

It was originally built to grind cement for the Reedham Cement Company, however when the local industry declined the mill was converted to drain the surrounding marshes.

Today it is no longer in use for this purpose but still stands proud, providing a focal point amongst the flat landscape of the surrounding area and an important landmark for those crossing Breydon Water.
