Today is busy trying to grab moments when I can to look for bathroom inspiration! We are embarking on a major renovation of Ivywood House and starting with the family bathroom. Does anyone have any go to places for bathrooms?

A day including a (child-free) haircut , picking bathroom tiles in , and wondering around Norwich’s antique shops in the snow is a pretty good day in my book!

The twins have upped the ante today on their meal time DIY hair styling. Today we have had ‘shampooed’ in: weetabix, satsumas, apple, soft cheese, cottage pie, spaghetti hoops, a LOT of yoghurt, purée fruit and general flotsam and jetsam. Please tell me this is normal(ish)?! On a plus side, these little beauties in the paddock are just what is needed on such a chilly day as today

Day 2 of my migraine, but it definitely isn’t getting worse so that is hugely promising. The babies have been kind to me this morning (well, apart from getting up at 5am!), and have been playing together whilst I have one eye open. When I say playing, I of course mean tag teaming on destroying everything in sight. I’ll worry about that later!

For anyone that suffers from migraines, you will know that sinking feeling when you wake up with one. Babies down for their nap and I am about to join them for some healing zzzzz’s. Given today’s yucky weather, I definitely think there are worse places to be!

It’s nursery day today for the boys, so you never know, I might actually get to sit down to drink a morning coffee!

I have set myself the goal of choosing which roses to plant in the front and back garden for both Ivywood Cottage and House so I have chance to pant bare rooted ones. As a complete gardening novice, I am a little bit daunted! Any suggestions gratefully received! I am thinking whites and very pale pinks, some for climbing up a 4 ft wall (North facing) and some for climbing up 8-10 ft walls (one east facing, the other North). here I come!

We have sunshine and we have made it to Friday! I have one poorly baby tucked up at the moment whilst the other is terrorising everyone in sight at nursery. It’s lovely to have some very rare time with just one of the twins, but it all feels a bit off balance...if that makes any sense?!
