to our fantastic January 2026 Open Day! 💚

Back in January, we welcomed an incredible 470 visitors to our first Open Day since 2019, and what a day it was. The event at Nottingham Forest was so popular that we completely ran out of biscuits and emptied the tea and coffee supplies!

It was wonderful to see so many of you meeting our team and drivers, exploring our coaches, enjoying the stadium and museum tours, and finding inspiration for future holidays. We loved catching up with so many of our valued customers and supporters.

Happy Retirement, Karen! 🎉

After 15 years with Skills, we would like to say a huge thank you to Karen as she begins her well-deserved retirement.

🕐 Saturday 29th August - both shops open from 9am to 1pm
❌ Sunday 30th & Monday 31st August (Bank Holiday) - both shops closed
🕓 Tuesday 1st September - open as normal, from 9am

Found in the Archive: The Original Skills Coach 🚌

Back in 1921, Arthur Skill bought this Crossley Charabanc to transport workers to Bestwood Colliery and the Celanese Chemical Plant in Nottinghamshire. And 105 years later, we're still proudly keeping Nottingham moving, providing transport for our local NHS heroes, schoolchildren and holidaymakers alike!
