East Midlands Equine Horse Transport I have had an interest in horses and ponies since childhood and have worked with them most of my life.

At one point I was working for Fred, Mary and David Broom as a groom and my interest continued. I then started breaking and schooling and solving problems with other people’s horses. In 1993 I went to work for a dealer, breaking, schooling, competing etc, and in 1995 I started my company East Midlands Equine; in the first instance, initially as a horse transport company. I had seen for myself over the years how the way in which horses were loaded and transported could be improved and this is what I set out to achieve. My ethos is that the horse always comes first. 5 years later My Company expanded to include the other side of my passion – schooling, breaking – and for 26 years my company has grown from strength to strength. I have some excellent staff that understands my way of looking after and working the horse, either on livery, in for behavioural problems, breaking, schooling or competing for owners.

Our second move of the day was for this loverly lady from barkby in Leicestershire over to chine house vets for an operation tomorrow
Owner told us she does not like loading
But that was not to much of an issue
Just gave her a bit of time and then she just walked on and travelled beautifully
Came off lorry nice and calmly
Wishing well with opp tomorrow

Going from belton nr Loughborough
Down to Hartpury College Gloucestershire
Loaded well just a bit unsettled on route
But travelled well

Our first move of the today for a big lad I’ve not seen for a few years
Moving him from wysall Leicestershire over to spalding area
As always just give him a minute then he loads himself traveled brilliantly as always

Our move for today was for these two lovely golden oldies. Going from Filongley nr Coventry down to Malmsbury. Neither had been traveled in quite some time but loaded and traveled beautifully. We wish them and their owners happy times in their beautiful new home.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of moving this lovely lady from the Newark area down to Cotes. She hadn’t been traveled in quite some time so took a little time to load, but once on board she travelled like a rock and came off the lorry rather sweetly if we do say so ourselves (video in the comments)

Yesterday we moved this lovely lady from Coventry to Rugby. She was travelled under vet sedation due to separation anxiety but she loaded and traveled sweetly. She took a little time to unload but in the end unloaded herself like she’d done it all her life. We wish her and her owner happy times at their new yard.
