D.GREEN Driving School also offers refresher lessons for those who have already passed their test but haven't driven for a while.

After over 40 years of service, Dave has decided to take retirement. Helping people learn the life skill of driving has been an enormous privilege for Dave and seeing photos of his customers with their pass certificates reflects his proudest moments. Having said that, being a driving instructor isn't just about helping people pass their test, it's about having patience, understanding and supporting people in learning at their own pace. Dave would also like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who has used his services and recommended him over the years. It's been an absolute blast, but for now, it's time to put the brake on, switch off the engine and exit the car. Thank you everyone ❤️

Hello everyone! First of all we hope you are all doing ok during what's been some tough times. It's been a while since we've updated this page but we are delighted to say that Dave will be running driving lessons again from 1st June 2021.

- What's changed?
You will still receive the top class service from a patient instructor with over 30 years in the business but the hourly rate will be £26 per hour (for everyone) with a block booking deal of 11 lessons for the price of 10. Dave still teaches in manual.

- Covid Regulations
You must bring and wear your own mask whilst inside of the car. The inside parts of the car and door handles will be cleaned before each lesson and hand sanitiser will be provided. To ensure fresh air is circulated, the windows will be down to an certain extent and Dave will advise accordingly in the event of bad weather i.e. you may need to wear an extra layer if it's cold. Dave will contact you before your lesson to see how you are feeling and whether you have any Covid symptoms.

- How do I book?
If you are interested in checking availability you will need to contact Dave directly on 0115 9845312 or 07713171057 from next week (17th May). Please note that bookings cannot be made via Facebook.

Dave is a patient instructor and offers friendly one-to-one tuition tailored to your needs. He has helped lots of people pass their test and you could be next! We look forward to hearing from you.

Hello and hope you are all well. Just another quick update to confirm that there is still NO lessons going ahead at the moment. As mentioned before, Dave's top priority is the safety of his customers but we will continue to monitor the situation and update the page as and when so we ask that you please like and follow the page to keep up with updates.

Hello and hope everyone is doing OK. We've had a few messages lately asking when lessons will continue and whether there's space for new starters. Unfortunately the answer is we simply do not know at this moment in time. Dave's main concern is the safety of his customers and therefore he will continue to monitor the current situation and adhere to the government guidance. Any updates will be published on this page as and when. Thanks and stay safe.

SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to the current circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus, Dave has taken the decision to cancel lessons for the foreseeable future. He is currently in the process of contacting his customers to inform them.
