Thinking of a family getaway to Turkey – we’ve just returned from the Aquasis Deluxe Resort & Spa 4+ – perfect for families, kids, multi-generational escapes or for adults on the more quieter side of the resort. What a fantastic day at the Pride Park Wedding Fayre, huge thanks to I Do for another fantastic event. The Maldives proved to be the most talked about honeymoon destination, with lots of conversations about stag escapes too and an absolute pleasure to be exhibiting alongside Joanna Evans Wedding Cakes. 😎

Day 5 – Welcome to Malta – we started with a visit to Marsaxlokk, a traditional fishing village on the south east coast, known for the colourful luzzu boats, harbour and fresh seafood restaurants along the harbour (plus if you visit on a Sunday there’s the fish market). Before hopping on the local bus back to Valletta, Malta’s capital, a UNESCO World Heritage city with historic architecture at every turn so much to see and explore. Malta works beautifully for:
• Culture lovers (Valletta, Mdina, temples) – if calling in for day from a cruise, all within walking distance from the ship
• Coastal explorers (Blue Grotto, Dingli Cliffs)
• Families (Popeye Village, Aquarium)
• Couples (Upper Barrakka sunsets, Mdina evenings)
