Blackthorn Gate Blackthorn Gate is an small exclusive collection of Scandinavian lodges looking out over Roseberry Topping.

All the lodges have their own hot tub (extra cost) and free sauna. Please note we do not do one night stays minimum two nights Blackthorn Gate is a collection of 4 star gold rated holiday lodges looking out over Roseberry Topping. There is on site fishing in three lakes (no day tickets).

A Happy Ending

At the weekend a young gosling was found wandering around in the farmyard. There are no nesting geese anywhere near that area so I'm not sure where it came from, but there are a pair of geese on the front pond who have only hatched one gosling this year.
So a swift trip to the front pond with it.
I let it go into the water and it made it's way to the two adult geese who have adopted it.

There is one large cabin sleeping 5 at £441 and one small cabin sleeping 4 at £375 each cabin has its own sauna and at an additional charge a hot tub please ring for details. They both also have beautiful views of Roseberry Topping
