For those who already know about our lovely Orchard Loft Rutland probably know we’ve been working on Galloping Home Rutland.
Here’s an update:~

Galloping Home is nearly there. Here’s a few pics:~
The bedroom just needs some pictures and a couple of rugs. The main living space has a few extras to be completed. Cooker hood, curtains are the main focus now. Outside we need a balustrade at the front and a fence for the garden at the rear.

A bit of a grey start today but Orchard Loft has these beautiful climbing roses in full bloom to cheer up and damp day. Saying that I took Tilly to Exton estate near Rutland water this morning for a hike and before long the sun came out. It’s a great walk about 5 miles that we did and we didn’t meet a soul. We did however meet 3 fallow deer 🦌, Tilly got very hot under the collar…
Definitely going back there again soon

For our early dog walk this morning we went through our young woodland that we planted 20 years ago and then decided to carry on to Launde Park Wood just a 15 minute walk from here. This is a beautiful place with lots of mature trees, varied plants and a super peaceful place. At 7.30 in the morning all we could hear was bird song. Tilly doggo was on a long lead or I would still be out looking for her. Sadly Ash Die Back is much in evidence. I took some pics of course 😊

Wow, the orchard is so beautiful at the moment especially with the current sunny 🌞 weather.
After some confusion with our agent Orchard Loft Rutland is available for the Defender Burghley Horse Trials dates of September 3rd to 7th inclusive. About 20 minutes from Stamford on quiet farm.

Visitors this weekend brought their delightful Highland Pony, Lily, with them to ride the lovely bridlepath network we have directly from our farm “Goose Pasture Farm Rutland”

The swallows are back in the barn and are very chatty, the blackthorn blossom is superb this year and the orchard about to start do its best thing🌺
