Welcome to our newest permanent guests! These ramshorn snails will live in our wild swimming lake and munch on the algae so that the water is clean and clear.
Ramshorn snails are a UK native breed that eat debris and algae keeping the lake ecosystem balanced.

We think the last of our swallow babies are ready to fly the nest!
This year many of our swallow parents nested in our barns and workshops so we have seen ( and heard) them grow up. We have had such a fantastic year so far with our birdlife, from a mating pair of Storks making their home on the lake to starling migrations staying with us for a couple of weeks. We shall miss our feathered friends!

The Wildflower meadow and Bee sanctuary is here! Thank you so much to everyone's patience whilst we transformed the old car park into a mini area of 'outstanding beauty'. You can now sit down and enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by butterflies and flowers.

BEAVER ALERT!!! Bennett the Beaver moved in last week and looks like he is here to stay. After 2 years of encouraging wildlife and rewilding Bennet is a fantastic sign that we are have achieved a healthy ecosystem!
You can see Bennett hanging out with the fishermen and chatting to guests having an afternoon drink by the pavilion
