Five self contained cottaged converted from 15th century converted barns set in 24 acres of iddyllic Devon countryside. At South Reed Farm we offer our guests exclusive fishing access to our 1.5 acre fishing lake. We welcome all keen anglers for a relaxing week away from the hubbub of busy life.

Welcome to our newest permanent guests! These ramshorn snails will live in our wild swimming lake and munch on the algae so that the water is clean and clear.
Ramshorn snails are a UK native breed that eat debris and algae keeping the lake ecosystem balanced.

We think the last of our swallow babies are ready to fly the nest!
This year many of our swallow parents nested in our barns and workshops so we have seen ( and heard) them grow up. We have had such a fantastic year so far with our birdlife, from a mating pair of Storks making their home on the lake to starling migrations staying with us for a couple of weeks. We shall miss our feathered friends!
