Finally some good news!!!!
The boiler is fixed! After changing few parts, which had to arrive from Sweden, we have hot water and heating ❤️ so we've opened our diary and taking bookings again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Did you know, cold showers are really good for you? 😅

The reason, we travelled down to the barn, is our broken boiler. There is no hot water and heating. We've had to order the parts from Sweden, as the local merchants don't have them.
Unfortunately, it hasn't resolved the problem, so we're still without a working boiler.
This means, we had to close our diary, until this is sorted. We need to wait for specialised company to come out, which might take a while.

Trying to stay positive. It was meant to be to come here and say goodbye to our beloved dog at the place we all love 💔

Wishing you all all the best in 2025 and looking forward to seeing you all soon at the barn ❤️

Today, we said farewell to Missy. She was a very special dog. Kind, caring, loving. She loved coming to the barn and exploring the gardens and having long walks on Dartmoor.
She took her last breath at the barn 💔 so long, Missy. Until we meet again 💔 (2011 - 2024)

If you're staying with us and you always wanted to try riding a horse, give Cholwell riding stables a ring. Amazing staff, beautiful horse, stunning views and reasonable prices. No riding experience required. It was my first time riding a horse today and only regrets I have is I haven't called them sooner!
