Cleaning Vacancy – Holiday Lets at Fernthorpe Hall,

Fernthorpe Hall is a private residence in Uppermill, featuring three holiday lets available through Airbnb, Booking.com, and our own website (fernthorpehall.co.uk).

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable cleaner to carry out cleaning duties across all three holiday lets, shared guest areas, and occasionally the main house.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Cleaning the three holiday lets between guest bookings (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, access areas, and stairways)
• Changing and replenishing bedding and towels
• Removing rubbish
• Restocking consumables and toiletries
• Washing and drying laundry, with some ironing required
• Reporting any missing or damaged items to the owners
• Assisting with cleaning and laundry in our main house, as needed
• Working flexibly to align with booking schedules
About You:
The ideal candidate will be physically fit, diligent, and personable. This role suits someone who is flexible and able to adapt to a variable booking schedule. Basic IT or app skills are desirable to monitor booking calendars.
Hours & Pay:
• Variable hours depending on bookings, typically between 10:00am and 1:00pm
• Approximately 10–12 hours per week
• Weekend availability may be required
• Hourly rate: to be discussed

Due to guests not able to fly due to the current travel restrictions in the Middle East, we have our lovely Penthouse available at special rates this weekend. Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday - two night minimum - Please book direct through Fernthorpehall.co.uk or on Airbnb but not on Bookings.com which will still show as sold out.

We are always booked up 12 months in advance for Whit Friday Weekend - in fact we are already booked for 2027!!
