🛍️ This Sunday (11 October) the monthly Ormskirk Makers Market returns to the town centre.
🥘 There'll be gifts, specialist food and drink and handmade goods from independent traders to browse.
🎃 Look out for pumpkin-themed jewellery, cinnamon-flavoured bakes and orange leaf- patterned scarves on Moor Street and Aughton Street from 11am to 4pm

🥳Amazing news for West Lancashire!

🥬Our fantastic Green Fayre has been nominated for a Lancashire Tourism Award!

🧑‍🌾The event, which celebrates our countryside and countryside living, has been shortlisted in the Large Event Award category.

🐶Spearheaded by our dedicated West Lancashire Borough Council Parks & Countryside Ranger Service the family-friendly festival sees thousands of visitors descend upon Beacon Country Park every July to enjoy dog shows, wood-carving & weaving workshops, medieval demonstrations, sustainable produce stalls, food & drink stands and more!

🏆The Green Fayre is nominated alongside Blackpool Dance Festival, Chorley Flower Show and South Ribble Live.

🌟The Lancashire Tourism Awards 2027 will be held at King George's Hall in Blackburn on Wednesday, February 10.

🌟Ormskirk Clocktower to light up in celebration TONIGHT!
💡The town's iconic landmark will be illuminated to mark its 150-year anniversary.
🌃Starting tonight (September 11) the clocktower will glow overnight until Sunday (September 13)
🥳It coincides with a day of celebration on Sunday, which will see a host of family-friendly activities and events taking place across the town centre.
🎶Head into Ormskirk to enjoy live entertainment, take part in interactive art sessions and much more.

Join us as we celebrate Ormskirk’s iconic and historic landmark on Sunday, September 13, 11am to 3pm.

🚗 Ormskirk MotorFest returns this Sunday!

More than 100 classic, historic and performance vehicles will take over Ormskirk town centre and Coronation Park on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

The free event runs from 11am to 4pm, with:

🏎️ Vehicles spanning more than a century of motoring
🎡 Silcocks Funfair
🍔 Food, drink and trade stalls
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A family-friendly atmosphere

Vehicles will arrive between 9.30am and 10.30am following a 30-mile tour of West Lancashire. Visitors are asked to arrive from 11am so the cars can be positioned safely.
