When you head over to do a changeover and find a lovely surprise 😍. We were delighted to give a weekend at Mount Pleasant as a raffle prize for the Hamnavoe House fundraiser in Stromness and our very fine guests Phylis and Ally checked out this morning after a busy couple of days including a trip over to Papay 😊

Another interesting piece from our friend & neighbour - do have a read :-)

A few years back, my (then) lady and I decided to have a day out exploring somewhere new and we decided on the ancient city of Chester. An easy place to get to from where we lived and it promised to give us lots of ancient half-timbered black and white buildings housing interesting shops and places....
