9 landed for Matt during his midweek lodge break with us. 6 of them over 30, including 2x40+ (but a repeat capture- which shows how much they’ve been on the munch this week!). From some of these bigger catch samples, it’s great to see the majority of the fish in the main lake are now well over 30lb.

So many new 30’s for the Pines lake exclusive. 19 of the 72 fish 30+
But we are sure there are lots more, but they just need to be caught. Take this one out yesterday to Danny. Wasn’t a known 30 before, but turns up at 32.13.
He also had a 38.8 and a 25 something common. We just have 2 dates remaining between now and November.

Danny with a cracking sunset backdrop taken in pines yesterday. 25lb5oz. He’s also had a mid 20 common and a 38.14 mirror.

We are going to post Andy’s in 3’s tonight 😆 he’s now had 20 fish. 15 or 16 over 30 I think. The 3 commons yesterday/ this morning. 35.8, 37 and 38!! Nudging closer to our first 40 common. But still not there yet! Soon he’s going to be on self takes, as I think Julie is going to hand her notice in for middle of the night shots, and I couldn’t blame her!! 😆 mental session.

Matt in the East lodge has just had another pitch black belter 👌 29lb
Caught on a Baitroom wafter from the far margin, over a good bed of pellet / boilie. I forget how long these fish have been in this lake sometimes. It only seems like yesterday when we dug it. But 16 years on and this was stocked at 4 years old back then, so it’s now a 20 year old warrior.
It’s actually called ‘old 1’ as it’s written in its scales! Easy one for me to remember!
We have a couple of dates in this lodge in July. No availability June now. 🎣👍
