Day by Day Friday: We leave this morning for York travelling via Harrogate, after a stop, with time to wander and have a spot of lunch we continue to our hotel. Saturday: Today is free for you to discover York. There’s so much to see and do in this beautiful city, visit the cobbled streets of the ‘Shambles’ with its quaint little shops, York Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre or the Railway Museum. Have lunch in one of the many traditional pubs or maybe afternoon tea at Betty’s.
Sunday: Another free day to explore York or alternatively, join the coach for a full day circular tour, firstly to Scarborough for time to explore the seaside town, then on to Whitby with its quayside and little streets displaying their unique character and picturesque charm.
Monday: We depart after breakfast and head for home via the Peak District making a stop at one of the many pretty towns along the route.
